Intended Parents 

Is it possible for me to gain access to the egg donor database? 

Yes, it is possible for you to gain access to the egg donor database. Please contact us and fill out an application. You will then sign the terms and conditions, at which point you will have access.

Can I reserve an egg donor? 

Yes! Please register with us as an Intended Parent by sending in an application. We will email you instructions to our database along with a password to access it. When you find an egg donor in our database, it is possible for you to hold the donor for a period of five business days. Within these five days you will be able to decide whether you would like to move forward or not. 

Will I get only local egg donors? 

No, we work with egg donors around the world. Therefore, you will have the opportunity to find the perfect match.


Egg Donors 

Does the egg donation process hurt? 

No, the egg donation process will not hurt you. However, the hormonal injections can be uncomfortable, and the hormones can cause some mild PMS-like symptoms. These injections are only required during cycle-usually 7-10 days. During retrieval you will be provided with general anesthesia to minimize any discomfort you may have. The retrieval process will last about 20 minutes. The retrieval is minimally invasive and done vaginally, with no incisions. After the retrieval you will be kept in a recovery room for a short time while the anesthesia wears off. Then you will be able to resume normal activities on the following day. 

How much time is needed for the process? 

The egg donation process will take 30 to 60 days after being matched. During this time, you will be working with a few different professionals. They include geneticists, endocrinologists, healthcare professionals and attorneys. There are also instances where you need to work with a psychologist. 

Are there any risks in becoming an egg donor? 

There are no serious side effects of becoming an egg donor.  However, some women may have experienced short-term side effects. OHSS(Ovarian Hyper Stimulation Syndrome) is a potential yet rare risk that can happen with egg donation. It is non-life threatening and occurs when the body produces an exaggerated response to excess hormones.

Surrogates 

Are there any side effects by becoming a surrogate?

The side-effects that you will face are similar to the side-effects that are linked with your own pregnancy. 

I got my tubes tied. Will I be able to become a surrogate? 

Yes! In the surrogacy process, we don’t use your eggs, we use the IP’s egg or a donor, having a tubal won’t disqualify you from becoming a surrogate or even carrying.

Can I receive a compensation? 

Yes. You will be provided with a compensation ranging from $40,000 to $85,000 depending on location and experience.

Will my BMI (Body Mass Index) disqualifies me?

Our agency requires a BMI of 32 and below

Will I be genetically related to the baby?

Surrogacy is divided into two groups: Traditional and Gestational.

-Traditional will make it where you are related to embryo.

-Gestational will make it where you have no genetic relation to embryo.

How long does it take to become a surrogate?

There are many steps to becoming a surrogate. But typically, the surrogacy process is

between 1-2 years.
